GREEN WITCH 101: connecting with green energy ~ with Sonia Evens
Are you longing to strengthen your connection with the green, growing world around you? You’re not alone. As we stand between the raging fires of culture and climate, many of us are heeding the urgent call to serve nature – and the desire to ground ourselves in the living wisdom of the natural world.
At this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the concept of “as within, so without,” and uncover the many ways that your own mind, body, and energy are reflected in the natural world. You’ll learn about plant spirits and plant allies, and how you can begin to work with these energies, magically and medicinally. You’ll also be given a simple framework for learning herbs experientially, using your own senses – vital skills that will help you truly understand how plants “work,” whether you’re an aspiring herbalist, every-day plant lover, or anywhere in between.
Join us as we talk, taste, touch, and experience the wisdom of green energy firsthand. We’ll conclude with a discussion of how we can begin to connect our intention with activism, and a simple ritual dedicated to our wounded earth.
DATE/TIME: Friday, April 17th ~ 7:00 – 9:00pm
